Leo Club of Ananda College, chartered in 2013, has grown into one of the most dynamic youth service organizations in Sri Lanka. Over the years, the club has actively engaged in various community service initiatives and leadership development programs, nurturing future leaders dedicated to making a positive impact. Through consistent hard work, commitment to service, and teamwork, the club achieved a major milestone by being awarded the title of Most Outstanding Leo Club for the year 2022/2023, marking its rise to excellence.
Established in 1987, the Leo Club of Mahanama College stands as a leading force within Leo District 306 C2 and Leo Multiple District 306, Sri Lanka. With 40 presidents over 37 years, the club boasts a membership of nearly 1,000. Renowned for its innovative and passionate commitment to community service, it has been recognized as the Most Outstanding Alpha Leo Club for over 30 years. Additionally, during the 2023/2024 term, the club achieved the title of Best School-based Leo Club. As the oldest and most active organization in Mahanama College’s history, the club continues to offer youth meaningful opportunities through impactful projects and initiatives both in school and beyond.
Founded in 2022, the Leo Club of Ferguson High School has swiftly risen to prominence. Charter president Leo Kasuni Karunarathna led the way in 2022/23, followed by Leo Yohani Gunathilaka in 2023/24. Now, under the dynamic leadership of Leo Kumali Ruwanya, the club continues to shine, having been named the most outstanding Alpha Leo Club in 2023/24.
Our club, the Leo Club of Vincentites, is a vibrant youth organization dedicated to fostering leadership, community service, and personal growth. Under the inspiring leadership of President Sheshanhee Suresh, and with this year’s motto, “Unleashing Potential, Sparking Change,” we empower young individuals to make a positive impact in their communities. With a strong commitment to service, we undertake various initiatives aimed at addressing local needs, promoting social change, and inspiring others to join our cause.
